In this video I will walk you through the process of complying with Amazon’s Child Directed Policy Declaration. This is a requirement for ALL Amazon Associates on the US website and is linked to COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act).

Essentially, Amazon Associates cannot display links and advertising from the Amazon Associates program, on their sites that are targeted at children under 13. There is a deadline date of August 31, 2015 for compliance. Amazon Associates who are have not completed their declaration, will have their payments withheld. By October 31, 2015, if they have still not submitted their declaration, they will lose their Amazon Associate account.
